I've been a telephone sales consultant for the last 10 years. Scripts
are a critical tool for a successful telephone sales force. Scripts
need to be custom developed to the sales staff. New sales
representatives need scripts to learn the companies sales process and
build on basic sales skills. More experienced sales reps use scripts as
a guide during the phone call. It helps them stay focused. Every sales
person should have a script in front of them when making a phone sales
call.
