Product Sourcing

Since there is no category here for "product sourcing", I decided to go ahead and post my question here. I already have a business license, tax id, and resale certificate. I don't have a lot of money to startup so I can't afford to buy products in large bulk. How do I find legitimate wholesale sources that are willing to dropship their products for me? I've been reading in some books that you can actually get some manufacturers to dropship the products for you. I'm not interested in these dropshipping scams that really aren't offering products that are at wholesale prices. In my opinion, if you can find the product for the same price as their supposed wholesale price on websites such as Amazon.com, it's really not wholesale. I believe wholesale is at a low enough price to where you can compete with most other vendors.

Re: Product Sourcing

If you search for wholesale drop shippers ebook I think you will be able to find one for a reasonable fee. Your note about Amazon is a good test to see if what you are selling is a viable product if they sell it and it gets good ratings and you can get it for 50% off the retail price you have a good product.

I agree it is pretty easy to find you just have to make sure that the product is worthwhile and fits into your product line up.
