| Has anyone hired someone to write sales materials? Hi everyone. I am having a very hard time writing sales materials for a new service that I'll be providing my clients. I have a very detailed word document of what it will entail, but I can't turn it into a presentable hand out. So.... has anyone outsourced their sales literature documents? how did it work out? I really feel like I can't go any further without showing clients some presentable stuff..... Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks. Jonahtan |

Hi Jonahtan, I have, on numerous occasions, hired somebody to help me with my marketing materials and so forth. I think it is up to you to generate the materials the best you can -- because it is you who knows your business -- and then take what you have to a professional for help. You can also post your materials to the Internet, and then post the URL to those materials to this group for feedback. A lot of people do that. Mike |

| Hi Jon, At my previous company, we developed different sales sheets, advertisements, directmails, etc for our new service. We outsourced the copywriting to a copy writer consultant. She had been doing some copy writing for Yahoo Search Marketing prior to taking on our projects. Since we were also in the Internet industry, this copywriter was able to understand our service and our needs and she did a pretty good job for us. But It also depends on the type of service that you are trying to sell. If you email me, I can give you the name and contact info for this copy writer (in San Francisco, CA). Let me know if you are interested. thanks, derek@bizhype.com |

| Freelancers In the past we have used freelance forums like www.guru.com or www.elance.com but make sure you look at their reviews and sample work we have had mixed results |
