Hello,

it would be great to hear from you in what ways it's possible to build huge e-mails database? Or maybe there are some services who are doing.

You could get a mailing list software and have people sign up. Maybe do an incentive, just as giveaways for users to sign up.

You could also buy databases on the

In the UK we tried buying an email list of business decission makers. It turned out that 99% of them were just private email addresses when we got it through. We have been arguing to get our money back for the last 6 weeks. Personally I would say avoid buying one and build your own.

I'm not sure, our "marketing manager" found and bought it. The only involvement I had was waiting for the responses which never showed up! I think it was sent to a few and the rest were never sent out

I used lists back in 2000 with no luck. I average 3 new sign ups a day when I dont' do much advertising. Much more when I do.

How do I advertise?

My email signature
Boards like this
Writing articles
Teaching teleclasses.
I have free articles on my website
and a few free ebooks.

Just a few ways.

Don't forget to add an email sign-up box to every page of your web site so people can find it no matter where they are in the site. Ask clients and prospects, as well as colleagues, friends and partners. Give speeches and provide a signup sheet, and have one at your booth at trade shows.

Giving away some free incentive also drives signups.

Thanks!
