I have heard of people buying services from firms that write their articles for them I was wondering how that worked as well as if anyone has used them to write their blog for them. It seems like a good idea if you do not have the time but I just do not know how good the quality of the articles/blogs are and if there is a tendency for people to copy them from other sites.

I think if you are going to do a blog it should be your personality and writing style versus someone else. Article writing is something else and I think you could find a decent writer by trial and error. Regarding copying of articles there is a site you can use that tells you if there is similar content on the web I will try to find it this weekend and post it for you.

I agree with Redc that it maybe ok to hire someone to write articles I would not have them write bloggs

Blog writing is all about writing it your self I agree with the other threads

We have not written blogs but I was looking closely at a business that was for sale and they had hired a writer for their blog. I thought the same thing that was mentioned in these threads that it should be your own personality. When I was talking to the broker they said the Seller did not have any interest in writing a blog and the blogger was a great writer and the relationship worked out very well. The site was a PR5 so it appeared to be working.
