| Re: Advertising in the yellow pages I think it is if you are in the service business i.e. taxi, handyman etc because people still look there for those types of services you may also want to advertise in there if your target market would likely not have easy access to the internet (poor) or do not use it (elderly) |

| Re: Advertising in the yellow pages Part of the problem in advertising in the yellow pages is trying to determine which one - there are several now and how do you know which one is going to get you the most bang for your buck. I would advise you against it. |

| Re: Advertising in the yellow pages Most yellow pages now have an online yellow pages as well. The one I'm currently in gives active links to my website from the online yellow pages. |

| Re: Advertising in the yellow pages I think it is like everything else that you have to experiment by trying it. However, if most of your competition is advertising in the yellow pages they are probably doing it for good reason |

| Re: Advertising in the yellow pages We have found ti to be very helpful because many of the yellowbooks are highly ranked you get the best of both world online and offline advertising. But longer term I think they are becoming a thing of the past. |
