Alcoholic Drink

Hi Everybody, I have been reading a lot of posts, and they have been very helpful and interesting, I have a particular twist, Alcohol, I recently started a company to manufacture a new alcoholic drink product, knowing there is a lot of things to consider when starting such a highly regulated business, I went out and hired an alcohol consultant to help in the process of licensing and meeting all requirements. After 7 months we finally received the first permit, and have submitted the second stage of the process, formulation, 2 month's ago, still in process, and still having 1 more step with the Feds to go, and then the state licensing. Before you can even start on the process, you have to have a building leased or owned, in the companies name, so here I am paying a rent payment for 9 months! Needless to say I'm in it for the long haul.
We have a great product, hardly any competition, just one similar product on the market, and a huge difference between the two products, wide open market, we have the equipment to manufacture our product, we have the "Clean" facilities in place, and we can't produce or sell until all licensing are obtained.
The way the government handles the licensing process, has caused a hardship to the company, but we "Will" get our licensing, but my fears have come true, and by the time we get the all clear, I won't have the cash for inventory, production, Ect.
We have decided to look for an investor, although I feel we should get the licensing process complete first before we approach potential investors, maybe a forum like this one will bring some interest our way, anybody interested and willing to sign a non-discloser agreement, Please feel free to contact me, I would love to hear any comments the forum might have. Thank You for allowing me to Vent some anger, and "Keep The Faith."

Hopefully you'll find some investors. In my personal experience, investors will not fund any business unless you have a 3-5 year track record of profitable sales. I work with investors, and usually investors will look at 5-10 thousand proposals and fund only 1 project. I work with Lenders, Funders and Ceo's who are extremely wealthy that will fund any project as long as you have collateral. If you have assets, funding is easy and efficient, if you don't have assets matching your desired amount of funding, then it is a shot in the dark. Any business seeking 1m or more, I can help, but funding is always based on what your worth.
If interested, post another message, either way I wish the best of luck with your venture...
