I live in Madagascar. I just turn out to be 18 years old. Though, I have a business project that I want to laungh here in my Country (in the Capital City first).

The problem is that, I don't have a funds to start the business (around $600), because I don't work yet, but the bank requires me to have at least some incomes before they lend the required moneys.

The business: download cost here in my country is still very high, but I have a friend who works as an Administrator of a Network, who have 24/7 Internet connections (256Kbps + 128Kbps) that can download a loads of stuffs without problem, at low cost, so, a CD Containning softwares (downloadable softwares, especially freewares & sharewares, it's like downloading them for the people) that will be out everymonth will be a great business, a little bit like PCFORMAT or PCMAGs, ... It will then contain a link to the Company's web site to the "Buy now!" button.
PC are getting cheaper, and lots of people can afford them now. But the problem is that, they don't have anything to put inside! So, I want to target those people, and those who are like me, that don't like out dated softwares: always kept with the latest ressources.

I've already checked the printing prices, and cover makings. But, only the Circle CD Case is the problem, the Printing house can't print this thing right on the CD. So, I must buy another printer, that will be able to print on the CD (I've seen one from CBL).

We are also getting the HTML content ready, for nice looking and easy to use interfaces. We make look very Professionnal & very Competitive (even if there is no one yet making the same business), so that it will always win the market.

But, I need helps on these following subject:
1. Will it succeed ? no much risk ?
2. Is there some generous people in this world, who can donate some money to me, and help me start-up ? because I have a PayPal account; their web site ?
3. What is the best printer for printing anything right on the CD itself ?
4. Is there a legal stuff that I must take care, about putting a Company's software on the CD ? because publishing it (trial versions if sharewares) would be equal to advertising it for them! right ?!
5. How can I protect the CD from being copied everywhere ? an idea about a Software creating protected CDs ?

I would appreciate any help.

Did I understand you correctly -- where you live it's too expensive to download off the Internet but it's ok to pay for something over the Internet?
Are you charged by the minute while you're online?

Um... the first thing I would highly recommend you do is find out if what you're thinking about doing is legal in all the countries involved.

Even though the products are freeware and shareware, the authors made an agreement with the sites that distribute their products(s). You would need a written agreement from them giving you permission to mass produce their product and then mass distribute it.

Are you then giving it away for free or selling it? That's a whole 'nuther story.

How do you plan on making money off this site?

First of all, I'm not planning a Warez or a kind of Illegal thing, I want to be honest on my own business. What I mean, is the people will pay, for download price, but not the softwares inside. I plan it to have a "Buy Now" button for every commerial product I include in it.

For the agreement, do you mean, that for every company, I must have an agreement with each one of them (Microsoft, Macromedia, Adobe, Executive Software, ...)? or just the site that hosts the products ?
