I recently bought an Image Hosting site (www.uploadsite.net). The site's gets close to 50 uniques a day. I've now had it for about 3 weeks, but i dont see any increase in traffic.

Im concerned about this, because if i look at my site, it's not different from all the other Image hosting Sites out there. Its, got less than the others. Im looking for ideas to make the site stand out, grab the customers attention, and come back to the site at a later point in time.

Now, some may say to do it like www.imageshack.us. I've looked into that but overall i think i need to come up with something new, something yet unique. Im also a bit handicapped considering that i dont know PHP, to make changes on the site myself, although that wouldnt be the biggest problem.

Someone already told me to start a community on the site. Of course a community would be great, but who would join in? If i would add a Forum to the site now, no one would join. I barely get people to upload some images, so why would they sign up on an empty board....

What i need is an "IdeaVirus". Something that people have not had on image hosting sites. In my opinion one cant get very creative on a simple image hosting site. But im not the most creative person out there...

any ideas are greatly appreciated...

A web business, like any real business, takes some time to establish! The mantra online is to not only have patience but also be persistent!

First off, you will have to start somewhere! Community is only only a forum site but something that gets your users involved in it.

I am not able to think of any new ideas off my mind. However, as soon as I get struck with one, I would tell you about it

Just a Tip - I would really find a niche to focus this site on rather than get into general Free File hosting market!
