| Names Hi Everyone, I want to start up my own Web Design Business. I am having trouble think of a name. I want the name be short, hopefully just one word, which means something. A few people have sent me some links on tips on how to think of a name, but I actually need someone to help me make up the name. Can anyone help? Cheers.      |

| Maybe somthing like innovate Studios, or designs, Or how about SB Designs or Studios. SB could stand for Small Business as the target market you looking at(i dont know if it is but if you are this could work) |

| Thinking about it Inovate Studios probably sounds best of the 4 but maybe innovation studios maybe better. I do prefer the Inovate studios though. If you wanted to throw a curvball at it though you could go for Inov8 Studios. Just an idea. |

| You could use Innov8 Productions, but that may cause problems when you explain how to spell it. Try and find a free copy of a program called NameRazor, it helps a lot! Also, think of all the words that you like - ALL OF THEM, then write them down in a list. Now go down this list and try to match words together to get names. That's two ways. I would stick to a limit of 3 syllables...Mic-ro-Soft...Pack-Ard-Bell....Two-Ad-Vanced and, my name....A-corn-6. Any more than 3 syllables and I think it becomes hard to remember! |

| When I named my company. "Reliable American" I had a few things in mind and I based the name on market research. I am in the construction business. Market research shows that in my area customer's #1 complaint is that most contractors are not reliable. Market research shows that in my area customer's #2 complaint is they have a hard time communicating because the workers don't speak english. This obviously has a direct connection to my company name. The third thing I had in my mind was not limiting myself by my name. I can do business as Reliable American Roofing, Reliable American Siding, whatever service I am promoting... If I ever decide to build custom homes I am still Reliable American. If I move to another City I am not "Chiago Roofing" I am still Reliable American. |

| BTwittey, I got my copy of a program called Ares. It's a thing like Kazaa, but better. Yes, it was illegal, but it wasn't like it was a ?500 program like Photoshop, it's only $59. But anyway, enough of that talk, go to www.ares.com, download the program and type "Namerazor" under software search. |
