Multipage Salesletters v/s Long Page

What do you think about splittin your salesletter 'online' over multiple, clickable pages? I had once tried it and, honestly, the results stinked. Very-very few people went over to the second page leave aside third or fourth page.

The same letter when put on one page performed extremely well!

This sort of reconfirms that people just scroll over the salesletter and read only those parts of it that interest them rather than in full.

Personally, I am a big fan of long salesletters and now of keeping all the text on one page
