Im new to the forum and from the UK.

Anyway im thinking about letting people/business's re-sell my products and i will dropship the products to there customers, for your information its diecast, plastic, kit, R/C models etc, i have 100's of models, example of a price you buy for ?15.00 and sell it for ?19.99, thats ?4.99 profit or buy for ?17.00 and sells for ?23.99 thats ?6.99 profit

I will start with a few models to go on my site to see how things go with pictures and details for there website/ebay etc

Advantages for them

?1.00 a month, they sell a model and thats the fee covered plus profit
they will get discounts ranging from

5% to 10% discounts depending on how many items they sell a week/month
Spend ?250, ?500 and ?1000 and get discounts
Buy 4 of the same item and get discounts

All models listed are in stock
I will send internationally
Tips to sell the models if they are selling via a auction site
I will send direct to them if they want
Items ordered before 4:00pm normally get to delivered for next day within UK
They place the order via our shopping cart
No stock to hold, unless they want it delivered to them

Where would the best place to list such a service?

Any other thoughts would be great.

I think I would rather just sell wholesale...not deal with dropshipping to customers. If you can get your business up - I would imagine you would have plenty of work just dealing with YOUR customers - the dealers. But with dropshipping, your dealing with the dealers plus THEIR customers. It just looks like it could get really messy.

My thoughts on it...! Hopefully we can get some MORE feedback from others on the board on this one.

Also, search these forums for dropshipping if you haven't already - I know its come up a couple times before.

Having done this myself I can tell you it is a little bit of a headache but we really saw a real increase in sales after putting into place our dropship program.

If you can send internationally then let me know more about your produts so that i can let you know if there is any need in our country.

You might want to consider separating out dropshipping as an added-value which can be pruchased.
