Where is Euro heading now?

So, what do you think about the future of this currency and about the currency itself?

I think it's only going to get stronger. I reckon the UK will eventually come on board with the Euro. That'll help it become even stronger again. Plus, more countries are joining the EU in the coming years. I'm not sure if joining the EU requires the change to the Euro too, but I don't see why they won't.

Personally I'd like to see one currency being used worldwide.

North American leaders and lobbyists are studying the phenomenon of the successful Euro and are considering a similar universal currency. As economic summits continue to expand on subject matters we are likely to see more discussion about this topic. In my opinion it is not impossible to imagine that the world will find itself with 3 to 5 currencies in the next 25 to 50 years. If globalization continues to be successful I will not be surprised that the world will one day find itself with one single global currency.
