Web 3.0

Here is a link to a NYT article on Web 3.0 Entrepreneurs See a Web Guided by Common Sense - New York Times that I thought you would find interesting. How do you think it will impact small businesses?

Re: Web 3.0

I think the next generation of the web is going to be a lot more useful and you will be able to find information a lot easier. I also think that it will be a lot more segmented than it is today. As to how it will impact small businesses I think they will be able to innovate faster than the larger companies as long as there are not a lot of start up cost with the new technology.

Re: Web 3.0

I think Web 3.0 is going to require small businesses to be more focused and try to exploit a very narrow market. We are already seeing that happen today. I think it will also be easier to find the target market in the future as well.

Re: Web 3.0

I think there is more hype than substance behind 3.0 I think the web is going to evolve and their is not going to be a big bang theory like 3.0. But there are some big hitters working on it so you never know.

Re: Web 3.0

I found this article on Znet which went into 3.0 a lot further than the NYT article and I thought you would be interested in it:
