Stocks/Shares/Ownership???

Hey all how's it going? I am fairly new to business but I have a quick question. I have formed an LLC with 3 other partners and we have an outside web developer who has agreed to do a lot of webwork for us initially for free. Sort of like an angel investor. Basically he is willing to take the risk with us and we agree to pay him back if an when we begin to profit but we'll obviously pay him a return on that investment as well.

He is interested in being given some shares/stock in the company as his repayment.

My question is; each of the memebers own 25%, how do we break shares out of our business so we can come up with some realistic figures for him? FYI, we have no debt, assets or profit yet.

I don't know much about stocks and shares and all that so I simply want to know how you break that kind of thing down?

Thanks so much

Hi tealakota

The best advice I can give you is to consult with your accountant or your solicitor or even both.

A good accountant can provide advice and assistance in all aspects of financial management and not only for tax purposes.

I wish you all the best
