| Ok, maybe i don't really understand RSS and XML feeds all that well, but how is a company like this is able to sell feeds from multiple sources as a third party? www.allheadlinenews.com what are the requirements of using RSS feeds, and are they worth paying for? If i wanted to increase content on my site what is and isn't illegal for me to redistribute content from another source!?!? I know that some sites use an unwritten law by posting a "teaser" paragraph, and provide a link to the full article from it's original source! Now gow does one go about doing such things and more TY |

| First of all, Welcome to PulseToday Coronabottle! Quote:
RSS feeds require a RSS parser like Magpie RSS to convert it to standard HTML. And as for -- if they are worth paying for? -- I really can't comment on it. You'd have to decide it yourself if it is of any value to your users! Talking about the legality, most people encourage you to use their RSS feeds as you are sending them traffic by using their content. But I would still read their TOS so as to reconfirm if they allow you to use it on your site! Could you tell us that what exactly are you trying to do on your site? This way we would be able to help you better! |

| Just wondering what the guidelines are to republishing content on a site non- affiliated with the source, but somewhat related to the content! Would i have to send an Email each time asking for the ability to post a particular article or report, or is it possibleto take an RSS feed from multiple information sites and selectively post the cream of the information (that my would interest mu userbase). Don't know if i can explaine with further detail, because my knowledge in thi sarea is obsolete BTW, pulse i sent you an email yesterday, non-busines related. |
