Have you ever responded to spam?

Spam exists because people make it profitable for spammers to spam them. Honestly, have you ever contributed to this? Have you ever taken an offer that a spammer made to you?

No, partly because most spammers have no copywriting skills. They use poor grammar and all-caps at times, which is how I detect most of it.

Absolutely not. I make it point to not even solicit companies that make use of such techniques.

I have never taken an offer that a spammer has sent to me, the only offers I have taken up are from reputable websites where I have ticked the box to receive such offers.

mstwntd, most of that is to bypass spam filters--though it doesn't quite work anymore.

Spamming is illegal from UK accounts so if I get any that originate from a UK ISP they get reported.

I never respond to spam because it is something that I didn't ask for. I also always had a fear that if I accept whatever it is or even click the ok button that it just open the door for more spam. It is also very annoying when they are trying to sell things such as ******. If you need something like that you would seek it out yourself, wouldn't you?

Unfortunatly they won't 'learn' until everyone adopts that attitude that most of the posters here display. As long as someone is buying it ...

No, I don't respond to spam. They seem to think they can annoy me into accepting their offers by flooding my in box. If I wanted something they have to offer, I would look for someone else to buy from who does not spam me.
