Dow Hits Three-and-Half Year High

Today, the Dow finally succeeded in topping its three-and-a-half year high, set back in late December, closing up 107.52 at 10,940.55. This was the best close for the Dow since 2001.

The factor which helped spark this rally was a better-than-expected jobs report with over 262,000 new jobs were created in February, even though the unemployment rate rose slightly.

However, Nasdaq rose just 12.21 to 2,070.61.

So, is 11,000 the next stop for Dow?
