Advisory Councils/Boards

Greetings,

Earlier this year, I started my business, OlderWiserWomen?, LLC. The website is up though is still very much a work in progress. The response has been phenomenal without much marketing. There are many projects in the pipeline. I realize that I cannot do everything myself, and am in need of a team to at least bounce idea off of. I had not thought about advisory councils until recently when I was asked to be on one.

Do you have an advisory council/board/committee? How did it form? Are your members their voluntarily? What type of agreements do you have with them? How are you making sure it?s a win-win for all concerned? Where did you find your members? What kind of agenda do you have for your members and how often do you meet? In what direction would you point me to learn more about this? What piece of advise would you have for me?

I appreciate all your feedback.

Namaste,

Barbara C. Phillips, MN, NP
