How to use the Introductions Board

Howdy,
I'd like to take a moment to explain the proper way of using the Introductions Board. Once I get through this, I'll show you some examples of how not to use it, but let's talk about good behavior first.

I took a few minutes to make my own introductory post. I wanted you to know who I was, of course, but also I wanted to set an example of what I think is a decent forum introduction. No, you don't always have to be as dry and serious as I (I'm an old-fashioned Vermonter, that's how I am).

What should you include in an introduction? Well, tell us who you are. Where are you from? How did you start out in business? What are you currently doing? What's your business? Why did you go into this business? Yes, you can talk about all of those things without spamming. It's not really difficult. I'll post more good examples as they come in.
