Has anyone been successful at getting business from your myspace account?

Not here. Then again I don't invest a lot of time in my profile there.

We bought a site from an individual that had a myspace account and we get some traffic from that but we have not seen any from ours.

We have gotten traffic but not in our target market

I think there are better places to advertise if you are going to take the time to start a myspace account why dont you submit your site to dmoz or the other directories it would be a better use of your time.

Personally, I have not done a lot of advertising in my space, but have had some success with it. However, right now social sites are getting a lot of attention and to succeed on the internet no stone should be left overturned. In fact there is one that pay you to invite others to it. Have you heard of YUWIE! Check it out.
