MSN is it worth it

We have advertised in google and are probably going to start using yahoo. But I was wonder whether or not MSN would be worth investing in. Conceptually I thought if we had some keywords that were not often searched for we use them on all three engines rather spending money on just the popular keywords - any thoughts?

I agree if you have search terms that only hit a few times per month you ought to use all three if you can fit it into your budget.

I think it is worth a try we have had various success using yahoo, google and msn some key words have a higher return on investment in msn than the other two the frustrating thing is there seems to be no pattern but I would definately try it.

We have found that we do not get the hits on MSN but we do get a higher return on our investment with them so I would definately use them

If you have been using Google AdWords for the same keywords, can you tell us whether there is significant difference in the cost per click?

Re: MSN is it worth it

It really depends on the keyword generally the more competitive the keyword the more the prices are aligned. If you find a keyword that is under utilized MSN usually is cheaper than google - at least that has been out experience but I am sure it may differ from other firms with different keywords.

I prefer MSN over yahoo but not google. I find that yahoos advertising is more complicated than it needs to be. I would use MSN if you have the budget for it we find we get decent hits and sales off of it.
