Mr Pulse - The Marketing Viking. What do you think of him?

We have a brand new Mascot - Mr Pulse. Read the announcement here.

No offense, but I think he is quite unprofessional.. and downright ugly. And I don't just say that because he was drawn by my competition. He doesn't really tie in very well with the sharpness of the site. PulseToday seems to me like a very cutting-edge, get-over-here-you-gotta-read-this! kind of site. And a marketing "Viking" is just not in his element here.

I think you could do better!

I actually Agree Sparkie.

In the original forums, he suited much more.. but with the new sleek look of pulsetoday.com, he stands out.. and not really in the best way...

:banghead:

Hope I didn't offend.. just an observation from one graphic designer to another
Did you get him from Paul Carlson's CD? I've always toyed around with making a CD of mascots for sale, but the orders I get are so unusual sometimes that I figured it would be a waste of time.. *shrug*

I never pay any attention to him. I have thought "he shouldn't be on the forum" to myself in the past.

I was once going to use him for a brewing site that I had in the planning stages.
