Frontpage: Content or Forums???

Would you want the frontpage of the site to be a content page [regularly updated in blog format] or as it is now -- forums??

Actually, we were earlier using Mambo to manage the frontpage. And, to be honest, I am quite fussy about the visual appeal... which I was not able to accomplish in mambo [as I wanted!! :d ]... Well, Let's see if I actually go on to make PulseToday.com as a content site [or use MarketingTactics.info and RateTheAd.com as the content front end! ]

I think Pulse Today should have content on the front page. Maybe have a section for MT.info and RTA.info which would feed from those sites or vice versa
