On the contrary, there are very many foreign companies collaborating with Nigerians and doing legitimate business every day. I think it needs to be said that doing business legitimately has paid off for many companies.

Having said that there have been cases of scams but I believe the catalyst for this is greed. I guess the scams make many people sensitive when they hear of Nigeria. A lot is already happening. There are now stiffer penalties in place for such offences and monitoring has become more intense both on the internet and other forms. The government is leaving no stone unturned.

Be that as it may, the vast majority of Nigerians are very honest, intellegent, hardworking, trust worthy and very warm. Nigeria has its fair share of people with questionable character but so is every country/ society.

I think what people should do is to find out how many businesses from their country are doing profitable business in Nigeria and with Nigerians and you would be amazed at the number.
