Yes. I started repairing instruments working for someone else. I did this 10 years. Then I got tired of working in someone else's shop and started up for myself. I have been doing that 19 years now. I repair brass and woodwind instruments. I remove dents, solder parts that have broken loose, polish instruments, do minor lacquering, replace pads on woodwinds and then do complete adjustment and regulation of woodwinds.
