Some time ago I have bought a few domain names with the intention to use them for doing some test. Now one of them become available and I intend to use it to collect information related to web design, hosting and optimization.

My first idea was to use blog software for making it easy to update the information. Tested Wordpad and B2evolution, but because of variete of reasons my final decision is to create an ordinary web site, that looks a bit like a blog.

So, I created just the first two pages only and put some information inside to have a look at its design.

Kindly please tell me what do you think about the design and the usability of Web owners manual for web site design and web site management

The site has a clean look the only thing I would consider changing is the banner perhaps to something like on this site to make it a bit more eye catching - but good job.

I would consider boxing out and moving the lower right hand box on the site (last portion of the page) up to the top it seems to sit there at the bottom

If you are making a lot of money with the google ads I would not change a thing but if you are not I would suggest removing the ads. Most people who see google ads on a site look at it less favorably

That is good point. I may consider removing google ads from this site.

You may want to consider changing the font depending on how you want to position the site. The font you are using is more casual than formal and if you are trying to appeal to an upscale audience you may want to use a traditional font like veranda. Good luck on your site though.

Thanks. I never thought about the text font in that aspect. But you are right about it and I will probably change the font next time when update this site.
