Do pop up adds still work?

No people are using the Google or Yahoo pop up blockers to avoid this invasive advertising technique

Not only pop ups, but also almost every kind of advertising has less impact on the internet users. I think most people consciously avoid the advertisements on the web pages.

The new dynamic pop ups seem to work and they are alittle less intrusive you often see them encouraging subscribes to sign up for a newsletter

These are the next generation of pop ups they are the adds you see that drop down from the top of the screen or may come accross the screen and often only show one. They are not blocked by google at least for now.

I agree! I am amazed that people still click on pop ups it reinforces bad marketing campaigns
