Which datacenter? All of them?

I did no datacenter-specific test. The Google toolbar on three PCs showed
"No PageRank available". These were three IE and one FF browser. I tested
with various big sites (Google, CNN, Microsoft, Reuters, ...).

I am located in Germany.

There was a PR change in one of the pages that I keep track of. It changed
some time this afternoon... but perhaps a datacentre alternation is the
reason.

As for me as for now all datacenters show the same PR (using mcdar tools).

Havn't noticed anything go missing here in the UK. PR is still available
(from the toolbar server anyways)

Does anybody think that a big PR update is in motion?

Yesterday afternoon I noticed a sharp rise in the number of results for a
SERP I tune in to -- a rise from 11,000 to 30,000+. When I see this
inflation (at least twice before), it holds for a couple of weeks before
deflating and many Google updates follow.
