Lightbulb Mr. Print, Ms. TV... meet Mr. Web

ReadyForRiches Magazine is going to be a wholly Digital Magazine. Advertisers can have full page advertising for a fraction of the price!

Okay, so maybe digital magazines has been around for awhile. But how many of you actually read them? Did you even know they exist? Most of the magazines out there have their DIGITAL VERSION, but the main problem with digital magazines that are available is this: They're Hard to Read! Text is too small, which requires readers to ZOOOOOOOM in on content. That's why ReadyForRiches magazine is going to be available only in digital content.... font will be larger and easier to read!

Advantages of Digital "Print" Advertising

Cost Effective
Widely Used Format: PDF
Link-Ability (Readers Can Click on Ad to be taken to the advertiser's website.)
Share-Ability (Can be e-mailed to friends and family)
Animation and Movies (The Digital Magazine pulls the Movie from Advertiser's Server)
Sound! (Print advertising=sight... Digital=sight+sound)
Pirate-Ability (Corny as it sounds, people hate paying for stuff, and if it's available via the web, they'll steal it. Advertisers get a wider audience.)

So.... thoughts? Ideas? Concerns? Disadvantages?

Devshed is doing it pretty effectively with their Plug-in Magazine! But maybe that's because they are a pretty huge brand and have connections or perhaps they are in tech market where the advertisers understand the digital opportunities!

This is by no means to discourage you but you are gonna have to do some training for advertisers You would have to give them in detail the pros and cons of actually advertising in digital magazines and why it is better than / as good as advertising on sites and PPC Search engines!

Good luck with your venture

Oh trust me, I've really thought about these particular problems. Advertisers WILL need some training, but it won't be THAT hard.

DevShed's magazine is rockin', but I prefer the SPREAD look... 2 pages in view instead of one. This makes sure that readers don't just skip INFORMATIVE ads.

Hey thanks for your Good Luck...
