What are some of the terms you like to have in your consulting contracts?

Here are some of my favarites:

-change of scope clause
-fee arrangements
-limitted liability
-out of pocket expenses


It is so variable it really has to do with your business.

You want to make sure you have a dispute resolution process, hopefully through arbitration. You also want to make sure you outline what is the responsibility of the firm that engaged you as well as what the final product will look like.

There should be a liability clause in it as well to protect yourself against litigation
