Do you use surge protectors for your business? The outlet strips all say they have surge protection but I was told you need to buy a much more expensive piece of equipment to protect your hardware. Does anyone know? Is it worth the investment?

I think they are a waste of money we have not used them in the 15 years that we have been in business and we have not had any problems.

I agree you should be backing up your website and software programs anyways. I think they are another marketing gimick if lightning strikes the lines nothing is going to help you.
