Google buys Urchin Log Analyzer - May offer it to advertisers!

Google announced that it will buy the web traffic log analysis program Urchin Software. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

According to an Associated Press news, Google may offer the software to its advertisers -

"This technology will be a valuable addition to Google's suite of advertising and publishing products," Jonathan Rosenberg, Google's vice president of product management said in a statement announcing the deal.

The deal is scheduled to close by the end of April.
