| Social bookmarking and backlinks Are the links in social bookmarking websites good for effectiveness in the sense of back links? Does these links do any good from the angle of SEO? There are different opinions seen on various boards. Some say that it is good for back links and some say that it is not good for SEO. But all agree about traffic and conversions.      |

| Re: Social bookmarking and backlinks The only backlinks that are helpful are ones that relate to your site. So for example, if you have a business consulting website and you have a backlink from other business related sites that is valuable. If you have 500 backlinks from MySpace that could hurt you. |

| Re: Social bookmarking and backlinks Thank you for the rsponse and informations. But, I see people submitting to websites with high page ranks. I have also seen that one way back links are being submitted at a very high price. |
