hey, i was wondering
if i own a domain called hmm, lets say..
greenapples.com

will it pop up in google's first page if some one were to search the word

"green apples"

like with a space in between?

No not necessarily try typing in any word(s) and you will see that they are not always in the top of the search even if you type in the word exactly though I am told having the keyword in the domain helps

That is my understanding as well

It depends, if your niche keyword has many competitors, then, your website will definitely not be in the first page of Google search result. You still need a lot of thing to do to your website to be able to be in the first page. But, putting your keyword in your domain name is good, though.
