| Need help with Yahoo search I recently asked here a question about **** results being returned in a Google search for my name when my name does not appear on the links. Thanks to Big Bill and others, I was able to get these deleted from Google searches (although I never rec'd any answer from Google - I did get the desired results). Now these results are showing up on Yahoo searches for my name. I have contacted Yahoo several times and I have just rec'd a message from url-support@cc.yahoo-inc.com stating that they do not show any such results using my name (they do show these results if they add "pervert" to my name). How can this be? Why would I get results when yahoo claims they do not get them? Who could I contact at yahoo to get results? I should state that there is NO reason for these sites to have my name on them! I've only been to the sites since they show on searches. I have recently been the subject of several anonymous and derogatory emails and letters sent to my associates. Small town local politics are rough! Thanks for your help. Jerry |

If they're targeted against you anyway, then to make their point someone has to draw mainstream attention (ie the press) to the allegations. It would probably be best of you did this yourself as a pre-emptive strike in your own defence. You can point to the archived posts on this group as being evidence of what's been happening. If someone doesn't like you, then turn this to your advantage. Up to you though. BB -- www.kruse.co.uk/ SEO@kruse.demon.co.uk Affordable SEO! -- |

They must take any such complaints seriously. Yahoo! always seem to send out brush-off emails. ---------------------- http://www.abcseo.com/ |
