Nice layout they have. While some things I could see as minute they are pretty spot on.

Wow, that's something I've wanted to get my hands on for a while...I didn't know Google revealed stuff like that. I knew there were around 100 variables that it took into account but I thought that was as far as it went.

Either way, I'll be holding on to this

Actually, Google doesn't reveal this stuff They are pretty secretive about it!

The person who has compiled this list had posted about how he made this list on another site. Here's what he had said about it -

Sometimes I find a thread that yells at me, "Oh yeah, how could I have forgotten that", and I go immediately and update the file.

After reading kazillions of posts, you develop a feel for who is blowing smoke, and who knows their stuff. When CERTAIN posters speak, I instantly place great weight upon what they say, because history has shown they are thoughtful, logical, and SMART. These are the folks who are responsible for the conclusions which I have summarized (or tried to, anyway).

Well, I posted the above so that you know that those factors are actually found by hit and trial and not something that the search engine itself disclosed!

Oh right, didn't see that bit

The person that made this site is the sort of person we need more of on the internet.

Did you guys see the link on that page to the discussions of Google's patent for information retrieval based on historical data?

Well worth the read.
