Hello,

I have problems with Google ranks with some of my sites.
They are quite old (3 years or more) and there are not "sandbox"
problems.

First, my domain ***xx.it , where ***xx is an Italian common word:
it used to rank #1 (!!!) in Google search for the same keyword (***xx).
Now it is #392!

What happened? I read somewhere that I must not write the domain name
at the beginning of the title and/or at the beginning of the page or
whatever. This may be the reason why ranking has dropped so much but...
I have other 2 italian sites with a similar situation (domain = common
name, that is at the beginning of the title and so on), and they still
rank #1 (!!!) and #4.

Then I have a domain in English, ***xx-yyyyy-zzzzz.com
and the title of the homepage is exactly "***xx yyyyy zzzzz",
and the homepage begins with the same words.
If I search "***xx yyyyy zzzzz", ranking is #786 !!! (Absurd!).
I just changed the title (but it still contains the words yyyyy and
zzzzz somewhere) and I am waiting for better positioning...

However, I have another site in English, with a non-popular English
word in the domain: zzzzz.org . The title of the homepage begins with
zzzzz (+ other words) and the homepage either begins like that.
However, the site ranks #7 (total results: around 600,000)! So I am not
doing wrong with this site, but I don't understand why!

Giving an url instead of ***x, yyy, zzz etc, might help.

OK ( I did not want to do "spam" with the domains I am involved in).

www.natural-stress-relief.com:
the homepage has PR 3
but Google search for "natural-stress-relief" gives position #786 for
this page!

www.saggi.it:
the homepage has PR 3
and it used to rank #1 for the word "saggi"
(that in Italian means both "essays" and "sages"),
now it ranks #392!

Similar sites, such as ipotesi.net and segreto.net,
still rank top 10 (ipotesi is #1; segreto is #4).

I don't understand what is wrong with saggi.it
and natural-stress-relief.com

How many inbound links to the site have the anchor text "natural
stress relief"?
Betcha the no. 1 site has waaaaay more.
That'll probably be your problem.

Most inbound links to the site have the anchor text "natural stress
relief".

I don't think this is the problem. There must be something else, a
"Google penalty" that I don't understand.

The same for saggi.it, that dropped from #1 to #392 with no apparent
reason!

Yes maybe, but how many of them? And from where? Thematically related
authority sites on single pqges where you're the only obl or site-wide
from your mates'? Makes a diff you know.
