If I search for ***xx on google soemtimes the results of x of y vary by
about 2 million pages depending on when the search is made - seems to flip
about 3 or 4 times a day - What is going on?

Also stranger still is my site is no 1 for ***xx when the pages are 4million
but I slump to no 2 when the pages are only 2 million?

Google has changed its Algorthim and updating websites according to the
new algo, that process of chaning in the serp is called Google Dance.

Google has 40k servers to update and maintain its data. and so many
data centers are also there.

This is not happening with you only, Every person in the world is

This is not a typical "dance" this is when different algos are applied to
the same set of data. What is happening now is that the data set is flipping
also
