I don't see much to it that can't be done with Mozilla configured with a big cache size & link prefetching enabled. The compression thing isn't universal, but Apache 2.0 does have a module for it (http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mod_deflate.html). I don't know about other servers. Pretty much any recent browser using http 1.1 will support it. |
