Where do you find info about franchisors?

The previous thread talked about a survey site but I was wondering where is the best place to find information about franchisors. Preferably not supplied by the franchisors that give you insight into the operations and how successful they are?

I like the franchise 500 list by entrepreneur magazine it provides you a lot of high level information. If I am looking for more detailed information I look at the UFOC.

If they are public companies I would look at their 10k reports and analyst reports as well as the UFOC

There are some companies out there that provide industry reports on franchises so for example you can compare multiple pizza franchises all at once i.e. their growth rates, franchise fees, royalties etc.
