| Keeping good employees We are having a problem keeping some of our good employees at our pizza franchise. We pay better than most and we recognize that this is not a career job for the employees but we are having a higher turnover than most of the other franchises - any ideas? |

| Re: Keeping good employees I do not think franchises are any different than other small businesses if you treat people with respect and pay them well you will keep them. However, I would think that your business has a lot of turnover, I would check to see what your competitors are paying and also find out where the employees are going to is it one of your competitors or another industry

| Re: Keeping good employees I agree that throwing money at it may not help but if you are paying below what your competitors are and you are relatively close together if you could work at one pizza place for $1 more an hour than I am sure you would. |
