We are currently doing webdesign and were looking to try to differentiate ourselves from everyone else any ideas?

My best recommendation is review competitors and companies you would like to be like and find what they are not selling and what they are not providing. This would make you different.

Basically find a niche.

I agree I would not try to be everything to everybody my recommendation is that you focus on a particular industry that has a fairly complex database behind it and build it once and remarket it.

You have to find out where you are in the competitive spectrum from advanced flash/database design to templatemonster.com It is a very tough business with a lot of competitors - most overseas which is hard to compete with on a labor scale.
