New type of travel site

Yesterday in the NYT there was mention of a new website that forecasted airfares, take a look at it at Farecast | Airfare Predictions, Find Cheap Flights, Airline Tickets I think that this type of model could be applied to other industries i.e. car, hotels - any thoughts?

When I went on the site I looked at the graphs and most did not change measurably after the first week or so but maybe thats the way it is.

I think that is a great idea they could broaden out their portfolio and become a full service travel site. I am not sure though if people wont just find the information on their site and then buy tickets on another site.
