What do you think about building and add on to skype that would allow you to fax for free anywhere?

Efax would be one of your competitors.

I think it's a good idea and would use it to fax out. What about faxes in?

We were thinking that the user would have to buy a skype in phone number then all the calls would be free after that expense.

I like the idea I would pursue it the only caution I would have is how long are faxes going to be around for?

My concern would not be the competitors it would be Skype. If your product is highly successful they will copy it and integrate it into their system in a way that you could not or package it as part of a bigger product.

We would use it we use skype now and it would be a great add on feature it could be a big hit. I would think about how you can make money from it.
