We have a site where we sell books to help prepare the maid of honor and best man. We are thinking about expanding our products to include wedding speeches. Would you consider buying two or three for $15 or do you think most people like to develop their own?

I have not done a search to see if there are free wedding speeches available but if there were not I would purchase them for $15 it is a small price to pay for looking good on the wedding day!

I think the speech has to be personal and I am not sure that you would be able to use a generic speech. When I gave my speech for my brother it was all about him and his brides unique personalities and why they made such a great couple.

The people who use internet usually search for free content. In your case, they may look for some examples, but not to buy probably.

Better, try to burn a CD, create also a small book with speeches and try to sell in the shops. The majority of your eventual customers probably do not use Internet.

Not sure what this has to do with your question but I think that for $15 I would buy a speech if I thought it was going to be good. I would make sure you have testimonials and samples of your work

If I got 3 speeches for $15 and they were from a firm I thought could do a good job, it would be well worth the investment. To replicate the time it would take to put it together would take me hours.

Wedding speeches are so personal and they really should come from the heart. However, I know that most people just don't know how to write a speech. They don't know how to write what is in their heart. They might be able to use a guide of some sort rather than a canned speech. But I doubt that they would want to pay for that guide. As was mentioned, they will be looking for free advice on your site.
