We have a business partner that disagrees with the direction of the company and we would like to disolve his interest in the partnership amicably any ideas?

Re: Business Partner Dispute

Hopefully you have developed a partnership agreement which covers this. If not you should approach them with an agreement which makes an offer for their share of the partnership. The terms should be that if they do not like the terms they can buy your share for the same amount (provided it is a 50/50 split) this ensures fair pricing.

Re: Business Partner Dispute

The best thing you can do is sit down together with the partner and write the agreement together so it is a joint effort. This way they will not react negatively to a document that is given to them without their input. They are a partner and should be treated as such.

We followed Bostons advice and worked it out with the Partner. Thanks for your feedback.
