I read on this site,somewhere, that a good marketing tool for a web address would be a license plate cover with the web address on it. I would like to give these to my customers as Christmas gifts with their own web addresses on them. Where can I purchase these inexpensively?

The best place to look for things like this is in your local yellow pages. You will find dozens of small companies who do engraving and imprinting on items like license plate frames, mugs, pencils, sweatshirts, tshirts, hats and more. They usually have small minimums and will work with you. You also support the local economy which is still the driving force of the world even today.

Last year, I needed coffee mugs for my company. I did a Google search for "personalized coffee mugs", and found the company I ended up using.

I would suggest the same for you - try using "custom license plate frames" as your search term. In these days of overnight shipping, a guy on the other side of the country can likely get it to you just as fast as the guy three blocks from your house.

Tis true... However, the guy three blocks away is more likely to refer people to your business and mention your name at the Chamber of Commerce mixer. Both will increase sales.
