Marketing Dead Sea Salt Products

Hi,

I am trying to find publications or other avenues to market Dead Sea products. I am going to start selling Dead Sea Salt in bulk quantities. I am having difficulty finding publications that may be appropriate to advertise in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You
Brian Pryor

Lightbulb Advertising Idea

Good afternoon Brian,

There is a magazine called The Utne Reader. It is a great resource for alternative types of media, medicine, etc..I think that your products would go great there.

http://www.utne.com/adsales/ This is there advertising information website. ) Hope this will be of use to you.

Sincerely,

Brian,

I think another good idea for your advertisment can be to advertise in the magazine "Zdorov'e" - it's a Russian magazine published in the United States "Zdorov'e" - means "Health". I know many spas and health clubs advertise there. Have you considered targeting spas, saunas as your potential clients? They may be interested buying in bulk from you. I don't think a typical consumer would be interested buying in bulk dead sea salts. In order to target a consumer, you'd have to do lots of things like an appealing package design for one, then to find some literature that explains what dead sea salts can do etc....

If I were you, I'd target saunas, spas, beauty salons.

I found all of these publications with a quick search. If you need more help, don't hesitate to contact us. This is a list that we would start with to place your advertisement. Incidentally, we also do art for ads as well.

Hope this helps.

I want to thank everybody for their suggestions. I have decided to concentrate on my local spa market and individuals in the Colorado area that want to purchase bulk Dead Sea Salt. I believe there is a market here I just need to do some footwork to get the word out.

Thanks!

Do you want to concentrate on B2C or B2B sales?

If you don't mind B2B sales, then you might try advertising in a New Age magazine called New Age Retailer. It is only available to retailers and has quite a subscription base since the subscription is free and it is advertising supported.

http://www.newageretailer.com/

Also since you are in Colorado, why not try selling from a booth at one of the largest tradeshows catering to the demographic most likely to use your product? This would be INATS (International New Age Trade Show) West and it is held in Denver every June. They also hold INATS East in Miami every January. www.inats.com.

Your market is there... Spa Treatments and related products are one of the fastest growing markets in the United States. It is just getting into the right channels.

No problem. Hope you find the market you are looking for. I know I have your site bookmarked for when we renew supplies.

You might also want to target the handful of sites/organizations that reach people with psoriasis since dead sea salts DO work well for it.
