Loan

Ron If a bank tells you that they can give you a Loan if you make a "socially responsible" project, then what would you do in detail?
Imagine you live in Ecuador, a country with 80% of poverty
Socially responsible would mean that the money they give you must be used in a good inversion that benefits poor people.
your enterprise should do that and be profitable in a reasonable period of time, and you should pay between 9 and 10% of interes per year
the lending period would be between 3 and 10 years

well the loan criteria is,Viability, benefits for poor people, women empowerment, environment protection, impact on community

The principal Idea, you know is a computer store...
I have a few ideas... like... the enterprise would mantain centers of computer education in the poorest regions, 1 teacher per center, and the use of computers would be free, so part of the enterprise earnings would be used to give this technology to schools that lack this computers, or towns where boys and girls donsnt even go to school,
thats also a good idea for gans, imagine, a programs about weapons in exchange for education, those kind of projects could also receive help of others institutions, Im just thinking fast but maybe not so clear like you.. im trying to give you an idea so you can help me more with this.

the objective is to create a project that becomes of the interest of a bank

Daniel

Lightbulb Loan limit

Forgot to say the loan have a limit of 2 million dollars or euros,
Ecuador does not have its own currency anymore, we use USA Dollars, did you know that?
So it means I should make that loan in dollars?
what are the problems and advantages of those currencys... I have been hearing of dollar devaluation, would this affect me in 10 years if I make a loan?, or if some disaster happens in the usa?

ah And part of the business is the importation from china

thanks Ron

Although I am experienced in exporting and importing goods as a general business I have no insights in regard to computers in particularity. However, I would recommend visiting one of the sites I have control over, which is serving exactly the sector you are trying to work in ? the export import business and I hope you will find it useful because there are lots of industry specific resources, information, tools, export and import companies including China based exporters and sourcing agents.

Thank you

Thumbs up Thanks for the Link...

Hello and Thanks for the Link, I have made a bookmark of it, its very interesting
let me tell you, I have made some big changes in my ideas and thats in part with the help of all you, now I think its a much stronger idea and its really feasible, but its still not perfect and have some problematic points in its begginnig because it depends of other people or entities, once this points turns into a positive begining, then the rest should be easy and with a grow of more than 25% a year, at least in paper in my notes =)
Thanks
Daniel
